MUSICAL MUSINGS Friday 20 August, ten students with an interest in drama attended the theatre performance of The End Game. This was a unique play which took us from our everyday lives of trying to keep up with everything and placed us all in the middle of a computer game where life and death decisions had to be made with co-operation and respect in mind. This was a high quality performance the students will never forget. Thank you to Mrs McLennan and to Mrs Christophers for accompanying us.
Our flutes, Phoebe Christophers, Juliana Priestley, Christine Yarndley and Annemieke Verstraten, along with singers Sian Mair and Emiliano Pereyra from the College, gave a concert last Wednesday at the Friendship Circle for an appreciative audience. If you have a meeting where you would like a few musicians to play, please contact Mrs Ward. Donations for next years band camp are gratefully accepted!
Hopefully, all music fees for this term are in. If yours is not, PLEASE get them into the student office.
Today, our concert bands are attending the Waikato Band and Orchestra Festival in Te Awamutu. More news next newsletter!
