Pastoral Care

Our school discipline model is focussed on restorative justice; empowering students to make the right choices and accepting that poor choices have consequences. The 3C’s and our virtues culture support us to guide students to make positive choices independently. We are proud of the pastoral care we offer students for their total well being.

Matamata Intermediate has an open door policy and if you have any concerns you are welcome in the first instance to consult with your child's teacher or SLT (Whaanau Group lead teacher).
